Plant Design Engineer – Plant Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 3D plant Design: Utilize E3D software to create detailed and accurate Equipment’s, structures, piping, cable tray layouts, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
• Plant Layout Optimization: Design and optimize plant layouts to enhance operational efficiency, safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Code Compliance: Ensure that all designs and plant layouts comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with process engineers, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, electrical engineers and other stakeholders to integrate the different disciplines into overall plant design.
• 2D Drawing preparation: Develop from 3D models arrangement drawings and plant layouts, providing a visual representation for review and analysis.
• Project Management: Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling related to plant design activities.
• Installation Support: Provide technical support during the installation phase, collaborating with on-site teams to ensure accurate implementation of design.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Engineer with a focus on E3D/PDMS software.
• Proficiency in E3D software for piping design and plant layout.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ISO, EN, DIN, ASME, API, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field of engineering for heavy industrial plant projects such as Petro Chemical or Thermal Power …

Competencies Skill:

• Familiar with cement/chemical plant/mining process and workshop fabrication 
• Have experiences in Piping Design, HVAC design, Gas Duct Detailing Engineering, Plant Layout in E3D 
• Able to read and write work-related documents in English: reports, proposal on engineering solution 
• Able to lead a technical discussion in English 
• Familiar with engineering/ IT applications like E3D, AutoPIPE, AutoCAD, Inventor, MS Office
