Investment Accountant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage 1 Assistant Manager
• 70% of your task is for budget and actual analysis in on-going projects in Vietnam (4 JV projects; 2 in HCMC and 2 in Hanoi area), 20% for feasibility study preparation for new potential projects and 10% for JV partners F/S analysis.
• Effectively communicate with relevant members, i.e., PJ PICs (expats), Vietnamese investment manager in our company, HQ members, and accounting PICs at local JV companies.
• Analyze differences between budget and actual based on relevant numbers (sold units etc.) and interviews with PIC in JV partners, effectively prepare revised budget numbers.
• Analytical skills are more important rather than detailed journal entries preparation or tax treatment
• Prepare feasibility study (project cash flow) for new potential projects of residential development.
• Interpret conversation between Vietnamese and English during meetings, take meeting minutes and translate documents from Vietnamese to English
• Other relevant tasks on request

REQUIREMENTS:

• University graduate, degree in finance or accounting
• Experience: 10 - 15 years
• Working experience in investment finance, accounting or audit *experience at big 4 accounting firms is preferred, and experience at real estate developer is must
• Knowledge and experience in accounting, finance, tax as well as budget and actual analysis
• Knowledge and experience in feasibility study preparation and analysis on real estate development (especially for residentials)
• Experience of working for joint ventures
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• PC skills (Microsoft Excel)
• Ownership of assigned tasks, cooperative, flexible, keen to learn new areas, and willing to improve the current processes
• Mostly work in the office in dist.1, HCMC, business trips to Hanoi, if any
