General Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT, License tax, tax settlement; preparation of relevant supporting documentation.
• Responsible for Tax Governance and Control Framework, policy, procedures.
• Preparation for reporting to the Ministry of Finance and other organization.
• Conduct process and data audits on various tax and compliance functions and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Liaison with auditors, completion of audit requests and prepare for Statutory Accounts.
• Booking for relevant documents.
• Support other team members in various areas of financial accounting functions and period-end closing tasks as required
• Ad-hoc duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University graduate majoring in Accounting.
• Understand the accounting transaction in insurance industry to monitor the accounting operation with at least 5 experience years in insurance industry or Auditing in insurance.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards & Tax regulations.
• A problem solver with strong logical and analytical thinking
• Self-initiative, flexible, able to work in a team as well as independently
• Being honest, careful, organized and able to work professionally and effectively in high pressure situations
• Display a positive “can do” attitude
• English written competency is a must and verbal skills are highly valued.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, MS Team and Outlook.
