Ms. Tieu Yen Trinh

Founder & CEO

“Act locally, think globally” is the guideline and philosophy that Ms. Tieu Yen Trinh, the founder and CEO of Talentnet Corporation has constantly followed over the decade since the establishment of Talentnet after leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 2007.

Being an entrepreneur with a bold vision and charismatic leadership style, she has led Talentnet successfully to be in association with Mercer and ADP Streamline. She got experience in advisory Boards and C-Suite to build up human capital agenda and strategies on many levels with an unparalleled depth of understanding of the Vietnamese labor market, and strong relationships with top HR professionals, industry leaders and other key contacts within this field. One of the biggest milestones in her life was when founding Vietnam HR Awards in 2014 – where the best HR strategies and practices are comprehensively evaluated and awarded.

2019 marks her significant milestone by being in the top 10 of Red Star Awards – celebrating excellent young entrepreneurs nationwide for marvelous business success and contribution to social activities. In early 2020, she is listed as an Outstanding self-made leader by Forbes Vietnam.

Ms. Trinh is currently the Vice President of Hawee (HCMC Association for Women Executives & Entrepreneurs) and VNHR (Vietnam Human Resources Association), member of AHDO (ASEAN Human Development Organization) and member of the Advisory Board of SMU Singapore.

Deputy CEO 

Ms. Huong Nguyen took the key role in setting up Talentnet from the beginning. She was the Payroll & HR Outsourcing Services Director of Talentnet and currently holding the position of Deputy CEO & HR Consulting Services Director.

With her expertise in taxes, labor code, insurance, compensation & benefits scheme and payroll services in Vietnam labor market, she has led many projects related to HR restructuring, HR operation, HR assessment, rewards optimization. She is also the guest speaker for many foreign & local events about HR strategy development.

Her strong and insightful knowledge of the local Labour Code; Payroll trends, HRIS, HR Operation, Rewards strategies and workforce planning helps her provide efficient, cost-effective and legally compliant solutions and excellent services to her distinguished clients in various industries.

Deputy CEO

Mr. Jack Nguyen has over 25 years of international executive accounting,finance, and investment experience. Also, he has worked in Canada, the United States, and Vietnam, in both publicly listed and private companies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours, co-operative program, Chartered Accountancy Studies in 1995 from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He has both Canadian CPA and Vietnam CPA professional designations.

Mr. Jack started his career working for Big4 accounting firms for 12 years in Canada, the US, and Vietnam. He then held successive senior financeexecutive roles at the large publicly listed real estate company in Canada, a high-tech health care company in Canada, after which, he returned to Vietnam in 2012 to join one of the biggest firms in the country as the Fund CFO.

Before joining Talentnet, Mr. Jack was a partner and Head of Business Development for an international accounting firm. Before that, he was the Managing Director and Country Head at a leading global business process outsourcing firm, responsible for setting up the strategic business direction of the Vietnamese market (including offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi).

Talentnet Hanoi Branch Director & Head of Finance

With her key role as Finance Director & Hanoi Branch Director at Talentnet, Ms. Phuong Nguyen has been involved in several corporate projects and facilitated the commercial evaluation for all corporate investments.

Ms. Phuong Nguyen graduated with a Business Bachelor from Economics University of Ho Chi Minh city and a Global MBA from Oxford Brookes, England. Her strong background and solid experience in Finance and Commercial in Vietnam, UK and US have given her in-depth knowledge of Global Finance Management, Commercial Evaluation, Auditing and Compliance; Internal Function Integration and Operation Transformation.

She had extensive experience working with leading local and multinational companies across industries such as Banking, Finance services, Energy & Power, etc. in the areas of auditing, due diligence and financial consulting. Ms. Phuong Nguyen also has experience working with state-owned companies and regulators across countries, which helps her enjoy working with different people in different cultures and disciplines.

Ms. Ngoc Tran is accountable for leading the growth of Talentnet’s HR Outsourcing Services and the day-to-day management of professional and effective service delivery.

She is fluent in labour & workforce-leasing regulations, and best practices of outsourcing solutions in Vietnam market with more than 20 years of experience. Her strong and insightful knowledge about business set-up, human capital management, HR outsourcing service, HR activities, and workforce management helps her provide efficient, cost-effective, well-tailored, comprehensive outsourcing solutions and excellent services to clients in various industries.

Ms. Ngoc Tran is also known as a guest speaker for events about human capital management, workforce development, HR outsourcing solutions.
